    During the War of 1812 the British military supplied their Indian Allies with arms including this pistol which was usually given to Indian Chiefs and frequently handed down through family members after the war. This example was originally flintlock but has been converted to percussion as was popular at the time and much easier to load and fire. British proof marked barrel, broad arrow marked on the lock and totally correct. Maker is Loundes, a less common maker. Does not cock, missing ramrod.

    Original Enfield manufactured Martini Henry rifle. Crown over VR, Enfield 1882 manufacture Mk III - 1. Calibre 577/450. Nicely marked on receiver. Stock cartouche is clear and stock marked B.C.R. denoting issue to British Columbia Regiment, a Canadian reserve force established in 1883. Bore is dark with strong rifling. Toe of butt has chip out as shown in photos. Cleaning rod is a later reproduction. Antique, no licence required to purchase or own.

    Miquelet muskets, Balkan or Turkish Lot of Two
    The term “Miquelet” lock is of uncertain origin but the mechanism appeared in the 16th century and used by many countries until the 19th century by countries including Spain, France, Italy, North Africa, Afghanistan and through the Ottoman Empire. Both of these locks is of the Patilla style with a mainspring pushing up on the heel of the hammer, or cock. Both muskets in this listing are being sold together as a lot, original as found, uncleaned or altered in any way.
    #1: Approximately50 calibre smoothbore. Barrel has stamps which could be proofs or more likely maker marks. Barrel is 40 ½ inches long and overall 52 ½ inches. There is a peep sight present. Wooden stock is capped with silver inlay behind the lock and the forend is covered in thin metal with ten hand made brass barrel bands. There is a ball trigger with no trigger guard and fitting for sling ring on the right side of stock.
    #2: Approximately 50 calibre smoothbore stamped with what could be proofs or maker marks. Barrel is 38 inches long and muzzle is slightly flared. Overall length 48 ¾ inches and barrel is fitted with peep sight. Barrel is held into wooden stock with five hand made silver barrel bands, appears that one band is missing. Ball trigger with no trigger guard and two sling rings fitted to stock. There is one lock screw missing.
