    British 1812 Indian Allies pistol converted to percussion
    During the War of 1812 the British military supplied their Indian Allies with arms including this pistol which was usually given to Indian Chiefs and frequently handed down through family members after the war. This example was originally flintlock but has been converted to percussion as was popular at the time and much easier to load and fire. British proof marked barrel, broad arrow marked on the lock and totally correct. Maker is Loundes, a less common maker. Does not cock, missing ramrod.

    British Pattern 1861 Enfield Artillery Carbine
    Good condition military use Artillery Carbine. Stock cleaned up but stock cartouche still visible as broad arrow over 1861 in double circle, brass butt plate, trigger guard and stock end cap. Lock is clearly dated 1861 with crown over VR and board of ordnance mark. Comes with nipple protector and chain. Exterior of barrel is deeply pitted at rear from extensive use of corrosive firing caps. Belgian and British proofs faintly visible. Original cleaning rod. Bore appears corroded with no rifling evident.

    27 1/2 inch barrel with wooden stock cut down. British proof marks. Lock marked Frank Barnes, Tower Hill, London maker mark faintly visible. Stock has been cleaned and refinished some time ago and retains brass butt plate and brass cartridge trap. End of barrel at muzzle has a flat spot, reason unknown but may be the result of fitting a socket bayonet. lmost no original finish remaining on metal with surface pitting on both andgrey patina throughout. Interesting rifle as is or may make the basis of a restoration project. Caliber is .69 inch

    Rare French 1874 Gras carbine with a 20" barrel and two brass barrel bands, held on with stock springs,brass trigger guard. Original 11mm x 59R calibre. Number on bolt matches number on barrel, also stamped into stock. Action works well and bore is very good, bright without corrosion. Unique cross over globe pattern stamped into butt stock. Comes with Gras bayonet and scabbard. Matching numbers. Bore is excellent.

    Shortened from a Model 1871 rifle to 20 inch barrel. Stock shortened and held in place with one barrel band. All serial numbers match; barrel, receiver, bolt, butt plate and front band. Nicely marked, proofed and dated 1877 year of manufacture. Front and rear sights intact. Butt plate has go mental marking 3 K 3 23. Almost no original finish remains on metal and there is some surface pitting visible. Bore has evidence of minor corrosion but is bright with strong rifling, which is unusual for a black powder era rifle. Original 11 x 60R calibre. Antique. No licence required to purchase or own.

    Snider Cavalry Carbine very nicely marked, 1870 dated Mk III lock. Stock has clear Enfield cartouche. Well used action locks up tightly. Bore is very good, bright with lots of rifling. Original screws in place on either side of stock for leather rear sight cover. The 2 piece cleaning rod is missing from the butt trap. Very nice example of this uncommon Snider carbine.
