The M3 American combat knife was developed in 1943, the handle is stacked leather. The 6 5/8 inch blade is double-edged, stiletto type, and the scabbard is leather. This example has no markings anywhere, but the ricasso has been shortened on one side sometime in the past and the maker possibly ground off. There has also been a lanyard ring added to the top of the pommel which some sources say may have been intended for CB (Construction Battalion) issue but we cannot verify that. The scabbard is correct for this knife but is missing the button fasteners and strap that secure the knife.More...$125.00B1380 US M3 Combat Knife, Imperial
