    Checkered black molded plastic grips, M4 CONETTA on crossguard. Post 1965 production as the US DAS stamp (US Department of Defence Acceptance Stamp) is not present. Probably a contract production for South Viet Nam or other country still using the M1 Carbine. Original US manufactured M8A1 scabbard by PWH.

    US M4 bayonet, Imperial Knife, Second production plastic grips
    Original second production bayonet for the US M1 carbine. Imperial Knife Company, post war manufacture M4 bayonet with plastic grips was an attempt to address shortcomings in the original design of the M4 bayonet, specifically the deterioration of the leather washer grips in tropical climates. Production of M4 bayonets with plastic grip began in 1954 and continued into the 1960's. "I" in circle mark on pommel. Excellent condition overall, grip and blade. Comes with US M8A1 scabbard with belt hanger.

  5. BA1214 US M7 Bayonet, Gencut, in M10 Scabbard

    US M7 Bayonet, Gencut, in M10 Scabbard
    The M-7 blade is 6 3/4 inches long, with an overall length of 11.9 inches. Blade width is 7/8 inch and it weighs about 9.6 ounces. One edge is sharpened its full length while to opposite side of the blade has approximately 3 inches sharpened. There are no markings on the blade itself. The manufacturer's initials or name along with "US M7" are stamped under the crossguard. The non-slip grips are molded black plastic. The steel parts have a uniform dark grey/black parkerized finish. This bayonet made by GENCUT (General Cutlery). This is a post Viet Nam war bayonet for the US M16 rifle.

    Sword bayonet manufactured for the Remington contract U.S. Rifled Musket Model 1862. Made in the U.S. just prior to and during the Civil War. Distinctive bayonet-lug attaching slot. 20 1/16 inch blade. Unmarked except for the number on the back of the grip. Full disclosure - this may be a very good reproduction but there are enough things right about this and it's priced accordingly.

    Utica Mk II Comnbat knife, US Marked, 1960 - 1962 era
    Utica was the first maker of the Post WWII Combat Knife. It is called the Mark 2, officially KNIFE, COMBAT, MARK 2. Manufacture started in January 1960 and the shape of the crossguard and colour changed in 1962 dating this example between 1960 and April 1962. Post War markings show US over the UTICA name and no USMC or USN markings. The WWII markings on original knives showed USMC or USN and makers were Ka-Bar, Camillus, Robeson and PAL. Original leather 9 rivet scabbard is correct for this early model Utica Mark 2. This example is well used, blade is sharp and shows wear from use. Scabbard is complete and in very good condition.
