  14. BA1027 Norwegian 1894 short bayonet capture with badge

Norwegian 1894 short bayonet capture with badge
Very interesting and researchable bayonet. Norwegian 1894 bayonet made for Krag rifles in 6.5mm that would have been in use by German Volksturm troops late in WWII. The bayonet is quite possibly captured by an Irish Regiment and has the cap badge of the Royal Ulster Rifles carved into the wooden grip. The bayonet has original patina, blade and scabbard numbers match and the scabbard is a very unusual configuration with what looks like period personal marking on the leather belt loop. Blade nicely marked with Norwegian cypher. Included is a real Royal Ulster Rifles cap badge.
