Imperial German Model 1884/98 Sawback bayonet

Second model M1884/98 with a flash guard and new pommel shape. Ricasso marked Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen Foche with a pyramid and cross logo, an uncommon maker with a very elaborate trademark. Spine of blade has inspection mark but no royal cypher or date. Original and very good condition overall. Scabbard is later manufacture, probably an era field replacement, manufactured by Gerbruder Heller in 1934 (S178K).
