British Pattern 1853 Socket Bayonet, no scabbard Description
Designed for the British Pattern 1853 rifle musket, it also fits others including the Snider Enfield conversion of the above rifle. Thumbnail type fuller. Ricasso has 3 line Enfield inspection stamp. Blade in original condition with some surface rust and age corrosion so rated only GOOD condition. No scabbard has survived with this example.
