Canadian Sniper Telescope C Mk 1

Technically called Telescope, Observing, Sniper’s, C Mark I. It is a single draw, 25 power sniper observer's telescope invented and manufactured by Research Enterprises Limited (R.E.L.) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1944 and 1945. It was intended for the military market as a replacement for the traditional British 3 draw observer's telescopes. After only about 500 produced the Brits announced that they were not interested in purchasing so production ended. This example is a rather uncommon, completely unmarked example supposed to be either a prototype or post contract unmarked unit for commercial sale. The tripod is unmarked as well. Condition of both is excellent. No carrying can is present with these unmarked versions.
