The M9A1 is identical in shape and size but painted olive drab and containing a high explosive shaped charge for anti-tank use. Designed to be launched from the 1903 Springfield, M1 Garand or M1 Carbine. Empty, completely inert. some corrosion evident on surface . All parts disassemble for inspection and for easy replacement of damaged parts during training. The previous owner has thoughtfully stencilled the grenade in white, but incorrectly.
