  3. M73 B1 Scope

    M73 B1 Scope
Type 3 M73B1 in unissued condition, probably 1945 manufacture. Not stamped “Weaver”, the company who manufactured most of these scopes, and is correct for a later production scope. It is rumoured that a some late production scopes were made or assembled at Frankford Arsenal. Stamped stock number – 7579931 – is correct for this model scope and the serial number, although faint, is correctly electro-pencilled “31465”. The turrets are click-adjustable, the crosshairs fine, and everything works as it should. The scope would be a perfect addition to a superior collector-grade Springfield 1903A4 sniper rifle.
