Hörster, in 1951–52 and this example has the Hörster commercial trademark on the crossguard, an H bisected by a sword in an oval. The scabbard is similar to the US M8A1. However, the metal is blued and the plastic body has a woodgrain pattern. Heavy duty, well made knife/bayonet.
