    Originally manufactured in 56 rimfire, approximately 18,000 were made for use in the US Civil War. The lockplate is marked “Gallager’s Patent July 17, 1860, manufactured by Richardson & Overman, Philla”.The conversion was made in Liege, Belgium around 1877 to produce an inexpensive 12 gauge shotgun. 12ga x 2 ¾. Barrel is 31 ½ inches. No ejector or extractor were fitted. These were imported and sold through Bannermans in the USA at the turn of the century. This is not an antique under Canadian law. You must have a valid PAL to purchase. US clients - this is not an antique in the USA since it is converted to a modern cartridge but we can remove the barrel from this sale which makes it antique for US importation.

    During WW One the USA helped Britain by manufacturing arms and equipment including this Remington manufactured bayonet Pattern 1913 to fit the British P14 rifle. The two cuts on the wooden grips are to differentiate this bayonet from the similar looking Pattern 1907 (for the SMLE rifle) as they are not interchangeable. Marked 1913 for model with maker Remington in circle. Date of manufacture 9-17. This specimen has no British proofs but is US marked indicating that it was directed to US use on the 1917 Enfield rifle (P17)/ Scabbard is British style with frog stud removed and a US belt hanging device installed.

This bayonet fit the French Model 1886 Lebel Infantry rifle and was used by the French in WWI and affectionately called "Rosalie" by the French troops after a popular (but bloodthirsty) song of the day by Theodore Botrell. Overall showing significant pitting and corrosion on the exposed parts - muzzle ring, scabbard, but the blade is remarkably clean. Catch does not work. This bayonet has undoubtedly seen use and is properly called a battlefield pickup.

    RARE, original and complete German WWII Panzerschreck. One only. This 88mm anti tank weapon was copied from the US Bazooka series to fire a fin stabalized shaped charge projectile. The large blast shield protected the firer from rocket motor gases while he aimed through a small pane of glass in the shield. Each launcher was issued with 2 panes of glass, one in the aiming window and a spare kept in a compartment on the shield. Both glass are present. A magneto firing handle generated the small electrical charge to fire the rocket. This RARE specimen has been repainted desert tan by an overzealous collector. Original stencils have been spared as shown in photographs. The shield is Nazi marked with stencilled Eagle as shown in photographs. No sling. For sale in Canada.
