  7. British MOD Pattern Room display case

British MOD Pattern Room display case
This is a very unique offering. When the original British Ministry of Defence Pattern Room at RSAF Enfield (Enfield Lock) was moved to the British Aerospace facility in Nottingham to make way for a residential subdivision, the furniture and equipment was sold off. We were importing container loads at the time and on a whim had one of the display cases from the Small Arms room included in our shipment. This display case held pistols or submachine guns displayed for study and research at the Pattern Room and entry was by very special arrangements only. It has come time to part with this historically rich artifact as it is too big for our use. We will donate this to a recognized museum in Canada for the cost of shipping. Pickup in Ontario is available. Or you can purchase this privately for the price indicated plus shipping and taxes. Size is 6 feet long x 45 inches wide. The display box sits on the legs and frame assembly as shown. Top is glass. Inside there are shelves covered in original green felt and are not shown.
