Comes with British No. 101 Mk II percussion fuze as shown, also inert. Included is brass transit cap. Steel projectile has suffered some corrosion which has been cleaned.

Base of projectile is marked as shown in photo and date appears to be May 1945 (5/45). Fuze has been added and is a British 119 impact fuze. All empty and inert.

    47mm diameter x 141mm length, fired projectiles. No visible markings. The 3 pdr was a pre WWI round used primarily on naval vessels. Combat use on larger ships was curtailed early in WWI but the guns remained in service on smaller vessels and even as a tank gun (Australia) post WWI. An uncommon projectile. This lot has 2 projectles, one is fired and somehow recovered, the other is missing driving band and has uniform surface rust.

    60mm Penetrator from 105mm APDS Tank round
    Penetrator for the 105mm APDS or TPDS-T Round as used in the 105mm M68 Tank gun. Among the numerous overall projectile designations (ie; including sabot) are M724, M724A1, M728, M392 and M373. This was a popular round for combat and target practice use. Attached photos show the penetrator inside the sabot. Steel base is 60mm diameter with aluminum ballistic cone. Overall length 245mm, not including base projection. No markings. Interesting and very uncommon item, likely Cold War era 1950’s or 1960’s.
