    Viet Cong explosive booby trap
    A VC made explosive device made from a Chinese or Russian mortar bomb fitted with a US pull type firing device. The firing device appears to be a blue practice one and is actually labelled very faintly Firing Device Pull Type. The firing device is force fitted, or perhaps screwed into the mouth of the mortar bomb using a plastic fitting and is firmly in place. VC items are very uncommon. Empty and inert.

A complete example of this projector and bomb is currently on display in the little known private museum at Notre Dame de Lorette French National War Memorial and Cemetery.
