    French Berthier Rifle Model M16
    Original “Fusil Mle 1916”, the final version of the Berthier rifle series. Made by Etablissement Continsouza which is an uncommon civilian contractor to the French army during World War One. Dated 1917 on barrel. 8 x 50R (8mm Lebel). 31 ½ inch barrel. Round sling ring on lower band. All numbered parts match except bolt. Overall condition is original, very good and somewhat uncommon for a rifle of this vintage. Bore is very good.

    H. Pieper double barrel shotgun
    H. Pieper is a Belgian firearms manufacturer who developed modern machining methods around the turn of the 20th Century (circa 1900) and flooded the North American market with their products. This shotgun is the Modified Diana model with a patent date of 1892. Beautiful Damascus barrels and simple engraving on locks and hammers. Used but very good condition. This nicely crafted shotgun is sold for collection only and not to be fired with modern ammunition. Firearms licence required for purchase in Canada.

    Italian Vettterli Model 1870/87/15
    Converted during WW1 from Vetterli-Vitali Model 1870/87 in 10.35mm calibre to 6.5 Carcano by sleeving the bore and fitted with a Mannlicher single column magazine. Bore appears to be very good. This is sold as a collectors piece only since the 1870 action is considered barely safe for the 6.5 cartridge.

    Lee Enfield .22 inch Mark IV*
    Interesting rifle with a long and varied history. Originally a BSA Mark 1* manufactured in 1900. Converted in 1907 at Enfield to SMLE Mark IV Converted status. Sent to Australia at beginning of WW1 and issued to the 3rd Military District (3MD). In 1919 declared an "Emergency Use” rifle and stamped EY. Australian conversion in 1937 to .22 Training Rifle No.2 Mark IV* with a Lithgow made .22 barrel, not sleeved, and bolt head stamped "22 No.2”. Rifle still retains the long range volley sights. Bore is very good in .22 LR.

    Lee Enfield No. 1 Mk III* Peddled Scheme SMLE
    An uncommon rifle manufactured under the so called Peddled Scheme 1915 to 1918 to expand rifle production in the UK during the Great War. Receiver and trigger guard are made by contractor Standard Small Arms and marked SAA. The final rifle was assembled and proofed at RSAF Enfield. The Peddled Scheme project is detailed by Skennerton in his Lee Enfield books. This specimen has typical markings associated with that program. 1917 dated receiver. Barrel is 1918 hence serial number does not match the receiver, nor does the bolt. A scarce WW 1 Lee Enfield variation.

    DCRA conversion done at Canadian Arsenals Ltd, Long Branch, Ontario. Rifle is Maltby 1942 manufacture with FTR at Fazakerly in 1953 to Mark1/2. DCRA conversion # 0901. 7.62 NATO, all matching numbers. Bore is very good plus. Parker-Hale No. 4 rear sight, fully adjustable for windage and elevation. Canadian Arsenals Ltd. 7.62 barrel with #2 bolt head. Unusual to see such a well used military combat rifle converted to DCRA configuration but during the 1950/1960’s DCRA members could send their own personal bring-back rifle for conversion.

    Lee Enfield Sht. LE Coverted .303 Mk IV
    Prior to start of production of the well known No. 1 Mk III or SMLE rifle, No. 1 (Long Lee Enfield) rifles and carbines were converted to the new SMLE pattern and designated Sht. LE ConD with “ConD” meaning “converted” and the Mark following in Roman Numerals, as II or IV. This specimen is the 1907 Mk IV conversion series and started life as an 1897 Enfield produced No.1 Mk 1 rifle. Bolt and barrel serial numbers match the receiver. This rifle has had considerable Australian exposure with Aussie star on rear sight protector, OA on butt plate tang and an Aussie nose cap assembly. Very good condition overall and an interesting Lee Enfield variant for the advanced collector.

Numbers on stock (behind wrist and in barrel channel) do not match the serial number of the rifle. Bore is very good. Overall clean and well cared for rifle.

    Savage No.4 Mark 1 (T)
    Early Savage production in 1942. All matching numbers, all Savage parts. Bore is very good plus. Possibly one of the early (T) conversions done at RSAF Enfield. Rifle only, no scope or mount. These early conversions did not have the S51 Holland & Holland mark on the butt stock, just Enfield inspectors mark on butt socket. Pad screws are not staked as later (T) conversions were. This is a RARE early conversion of a USA Savage Stevens made rifle.
