This rifle has had an amazing journey through the 20th century wars during its 109 year history. Built for the Czars army during the Russo Japanese War and then serving with his army in WW1. Captured by the Germans during the war, They stamped their "Deutsches Reich " with the German Imperial Eagle over the original Russian arsenal cartouche. In the 1920s the Germans sold it to newly liberated Finland who altered the rear sight settings, attached sling swivels and stamped it with their "SA" stamp.
