Comes with a spring loaded bayonet with bulbous rubber tip and grooved grips. The bayonet can be removed from the rifle for hand to hand training. NR4541 US M1 Garand RifleFrench Mannlicher-Berthier Model 1916, 8 X50 R Lebel calibre. Bolt number does not match receiver. All other numbers matching. The M16 conversion to 5 shot was not done to this rifle and remains a model 1907/15. "Continsouza" was the manufacturer of the receiver and the rifle was assembled at a French Arsenal in 1917.
