    1943 Izhevsk manufacture in unissued condition. Matching numbers. Experimental Semin bayonet is cruciform style, 50 cm in length. The Semin folding bayonet model was developed late war and terminated after a short production run since they realized the Mosin Nagant rifle was already obsolete.     No.4 Mark 1* (T) Trade Pattern Sniper Rifle
    Long Branch rifle is dated 1944 and is in the correct 74L03XX range with matching bolt. Barrel is Long Branch dated 1945 with excellent bore. Butt has been replaced with a “long” butt, not numbered. Lyman Alaskan 2.5 power scope is correct number for the Canadian contract. Optics are crystal clear with command post reticle. Supplied as rifle with scope only. There is no transit box for the rifle or carrying case for the scope. The Alaskan scope was introduced as an interim measure because REL production of the No. 32 scope could not keep up with demand. The Griffin and Howe style mount is correct with Long Branch marks. Approximately 350 of this pattern were produced, but few have survived.

    Early high quality EG version, 1947 manufacture. Walnut stock is excellent with no cracks or bruises. “Hawkins" rubber butt pad is very good condition. Bore is very good plus 24” barrel retains about 90% blueing, 300 Savage calibre. Receiver finish is faded since this was the point of carry for these rifles. Receiver is drilled and taped for a tang sight. Brass cartridge counter and brass magazine feed system A very nice example of this classic rifle.

    Early Savage production in 1942. All matching numbers, all Savage parts. Bore is very good plus. Possibly one of the early (T) conversions done at RSAF Enfield. Rifle only, no scope or mount. These early conversions did not have the S51 Holland & Holland mark on the butt stock, just Enfield inspectors mark on butt socket. Pad screws are not staked as later (T) conversions were. This is a RARE early conversion of a USA Savage Stevens made rifle.
