Lee Enfield No. 1 Mk 3* SMLE

BSA 1945 manufacture using a refurbished earlier receiver, barrel is Enfield manufacture dated 1945. All matching numbers. Bore is very good plus. Owner says “It’s a wartime production BSA, when the Brits had their backs against the wall and well finished stocks were a luxury. It is a piece of British history - testament to their stupidity in not spending on their defence forces during the twenties and thirties. A false economy if ever there was one.
