Post-Cold War era (1991-Present) British parade dress peaked cap for the drum major of the Royal Marines Band Portsmouth. The cap has a white waterproof top and a red felt cap band. Featured on the front is a gilt and silver cap badge of the Royal Marines Band Portsmouth. The cap badge is a flaming grenade superimposed with the royal cypher of King George V (GRV) surrounded by laurel leaves. It was ordered into use by King George V in 1911. Above the cap badge is Queen Elizabeth II's royal cypher (EIIR) in silver.
