Sten Mark III

Iconic design the Sten was in use from WWII until the 1980’s throughout the world. This specimen came from Finland and is fitted with sling swivels to take the Finnish military universal leather sling. Typical heavy spot welding construction of the Mark III and marked L.B for Line Brothers, the UK metalworking company that made this model. Also has a bronze bolt which was an unusual British expedient during WWII ((see "The Sten Machine Carbine" by Peter Laidler page 250-51). Notice the lack of trigger mech cover screws on this model. Deactivated. Bolt moves, magazine is removable, cannot chamber a cartridge or be disassembled, no licence required to purchase or own. For sale in Canada only.
