    Original condition early Finnish Suomi SMG that likely saw use in the Winter War of 1939, Continuation War, or both. Still has uncommon brass stock disk. 9mm Luger calibre. This is the legendary model Suomi that was used in the Winter War 1939-1940 against Russia and in the Continuation War of 1941-1944. Bolt retracts and magazines are removable.     Suomi SMG Bunker Gun RARE
    Rare and original Bunker version of the Finnish Suomi SMG. Only about 500 of these were made during the Winter War period in this shortened version to allow firing through the observation slits of bunkers. Note the pistol grip to reduce overall length for use in cramped space and the flattened barrel shroud at the muzzle end to push into the vision slots. Also has simple sights front and rear inline with the bore to permit some degree of sighting through the slots. Comes with drum magasine (shown) and stick magazine (not shown), both deactivated.     The .45 ACP M3 “Greasegun” was intended as a replacement in WWII for the Thompson submachine gun being quickly and cheaply made. It was too late to see much use in WWII but was used in subsequent conflicts. This specimen is the original M3 configuration submachine gun with cocking lever on the side of the trigger mechanism. An additional sling loop has been added to the left side of the gun in the field. The deactivation process renders this SMG with no moving parts. Bolt does not move, magazine is not removable.
