German Luftwaffe Incendiary bomb

Original German WWII incendiary bomb dropped on Britain by the Luftwaffe consists of a magnesium alloy cylindrical body filled with thermite as the incendiary. The bomb did not explode but was ignited to burn fiercely by a percussion charge fired upon impact. Many did not ignite fully. This specimen is original and the percussion charge has burned out but did not ignite the magnesium shell, so it is totally inert. This model is 1kg B1 type. An iconic WWII ordnance item. Some marking visible on end cap, very researchable. Tail fin bent.
