Grey washed Prussian badge is original and very good condition. Cockades are replacements. Original liner is well worn from period use. Small size. Marking on underside leather body is mostly illegible.

    Royal Marines Band Peaked Cap
    Post-Cold War era (1991-Present) British parade dress peaked cap for the drum major of the Royal Marines Band Portsmouth. The cap has a white waterproof top and a red felt cap band. Featured on the front is a gilt and silver cap badge of the Royal Marines Band Portsmouth. The cap badge is a flaming grenade superimposed with the royal cypher of King George V (GRV) surrounded by laurel leaves. It was ordered into use by King George V in 1911. Above the cap badge is Queen Elizabeth II's royal cypher (EIIR) in silver.

    Swedish helmet introduced in 1926 and this same basic shell shape would remain in service for many years. This later version has a raw edge and the Swedish crowns front plate has been eliminated.     US Civil Defense Helmet (White OCD marked)
    Issued by the US federal government Office of Civilian Defense (OCD) to air raid wardens and other civil defense personnel during World War Two from 1941 US entry into the war until 1945. Original condition with grey cotton web suspension and leather sweat band but the leather is mostly deteriorated. Maker mark Mc is likely McCord. There is a red stencil 69 in a rectangle on the top of the helmet, meaning unknown.
